Eid Mubarak: MCM encourages all Canadian Muslims to reach out to others this Eid…

Eid ul-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice, is meant to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s (AA) willingness to sacrifice his son on Allah’s order. It is to commemorate the obedience of the son and the support and sacrifices of the mother, and the success of the whole family. Eid is a time for family, friendship and goodwill, a time for forgiveness and making amends and coming together. It is time for atonement, obedience, sharing and joy for all.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy and blessed Eid, thanking Allah Taala for all the favours He has bestowed upon all of us, repenting to Him and seeking His help and support. May Allah Taala make this Eid a very joyful time for you and for Muslims around the world, forgive us our shortcomings and guide us toward success in this life and the hereafter, and protect us and our children from any trial and all evils.

Please don’t forget to include in your duaa all our sisters and brothers around the world, especially those who are currently facing hard times and oppressions.

Jazakoum Allaho khiran and Eid Mubarak to you and your family
